I am Derneeka Nicole Cruse, MBA, aka Your Spiritual Friend, a New York-born and raised, explorer of mother earth, life, spirit, and body. I like to describe myself as conscious and cool as I live out this journey I came here for. I am a single mother of a teenage daughter and my mothering journey has doubled as a journey of self-discovery and healing for myself, her, generations passed and generations to come.

My personal healing journey has been a long one, and my story is still being written. I am a student of life and understand that class is always in session. My days are spent as an Educator in an all girls high school located in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn, New York. I am a Certified Youth Life Coach, Social Emotional Learning Teacher, Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT200), Meditation Instructor, Certified Reiki Healer, and an Intuitive Medium.

I use my education and studies in combination with the wisdom I have acquired through life experience and my spiritual gifts to assist mothers and daughters on their healing journey. I specialize in working with mothers and daughters of color together or individually.
